SUBSCRIPTION TERMS

These Subscription Terms govern subscriptions to The Wanderer’s Post, a recurring monthly mail subscription offered by Elsewhere by Eden, LLC (“Elsewhere by Eden,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By purchasing or maintaining a subscription, you agree to these Subscription Terms and to our Terms of Service, Shipping & Returns Policy, and Privacy Policy.

1. The Wanderer’s Post

The Wanderer’s Post is a monthly correspondence and paper-goods subscription from Elsewhere by Eden. Each edition explores a place, history, story, artistic subject, or related theme through thoughtfully designed correspondence and printed pieces. Collections may include a letter, postcard, art print or photograph, bookmark, journal or correspondence prompt, stickers, or other paper-based pieces. The theme, artwork, paper stock, format, quantity, packaging, and specific contents may vary from month to month. Product photographs, illustrations, previews, and mockups are intended to represent collections reasonably accurately; minor variations in printing, color, trimming, paper, placement, and other production details may occur.

2. Price and Postage

The Wanderer’s Post costs $12.00 per month, plus applicable sales tax and shipping charges where applicable. Standard U.S. postage is included in the $12.00 subscription price and is not charged separately. International subscriptions are subject to an additional flat rate shipping fee. Any applicable shipping charges and taxes will be displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase.

3. Automatic Renewal and Recurring Charges

The Wanderer’s Post is an automatically renewing monthly subscription. By subscribing, you authorize Elsewhere by Eden and its payment processor to charge your selected payment method $12.00, plus applicable tax and shipping, for your initial subscription purchase and automatically each month thereafter until you cancel. You do not need to place a new order each month.

4. Billing Date

Your subscription renews monthly on the anniversary of the date you originally subscribed. For example, if you subscribe on September 8, your recurring subscription charge will generally occur on the 8th of each following month. You must cancel before your next renewal charge is processed if you do not want to be charged for the next subscription period.

5. Monthly Collection Schedule

Each edition of The Wanderer’s Post is associated with a particular collection month. Under the standard schedule, signups for an upcoming collection are open through the 25th of the preceding month, and that collection is generally mailed during the 1st through 5th of its collection month. For example, a customer who subscribes September 1 through September 25 receives the October collection, which is expected to mail October 1 through October 5. The collection identified on the product page at the time of purchase determines the subscriber’s first collection.

6. Signup Cutoff and First Collection

The standard signup cutoff for an upcoming collection is 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on the 25th of the preceding month unless a different deadline is clearly displayed. An order must be successfully completed by the applicable cutoff to receive that collection. After a collection closes, the subscription page may transition to the next available collection. A customer subscribing after that transition receives the collection identified on the product page at the time of purchase. Collections may close earlier if available quantities sell out.

7. Shipping and Delivery

Monthly collections are generally expected to be mailed during the 1st through 5th of the applicable collection month. This is a fulfillment and mailing window, not a guaranteed delivery date. Postal transit time is additional and may vary because of destination, carrier operations, weather, holidays, or circumstances outside our reasonable control. Postage is included in the subscription price. Additional provisions regarding delivery, damaged items, incorrect items, returned mail, and unfulfilled orders are contained in our Shipping & Returns Policy.

8. Consent to Recurring Billing

By affirmatively completing the subscription checkout process, you authorize the recurring monthly charges described in these Subscription Terms. The recurring nature, price, and billing frequency of the subscription are disclosed before purchase. Your authorization remains in effect until your cancellation becomes effective.

9. Subscription Confirmation and Records

After subscribing, you will receive or have access to a confirmation or subscription record that you can retain. Your confirmation and account information may contain or link to important subscription information, including renewal and cancellation terms. Please retain your subscription confirmation for your records. Elsewhere by Eden may maintain records of subscription enrollment, consent, transactions, notices, and cancellations as reasonably necessary to administer the subscription and comply with applicable law.

10. Payment Information and Failed Payments

You are responsible for maintaining a valid payment method for your subscription. Payments are processed through Squarespace and the applicable payment processor. If a recurring charge is declined or cannot be completed, the payment processor may retry the charge or request updated payment information. We may suspend or cancel a subscription when payment cannot be successfully completed and will not intentionally fulfill a subscription cycle for which payment has not been received.

11. Cancellation

You may cancel The Wanderer’s Post at any time through the subscription-management functionality available on the Elsewhere by Eden website. Cancellation is intended to be available online because the subscription is purchased online. If you have difficulty accessing or completing cancellation through the website, contact us at eolivia@elsewherebyeden.com for assistance. We will not intentionally impose unreasonable barriers to cancellation.

12. Effect and Timing of Cancellation

Cancellation prevents future recurring charges after the cancellation becomes effective. To avoid the next monthly charge, you must cancel before your next anniversary renewal charge is processed. If your payment has already been processed for a subscription period before cancellation becomes effective, that paid subscription order is final sale and will not be refunded solely because you subsequently canceled. Cancellation does not affect an order that has already been paid for and entered the applicable subscription cycle.

13. No Skipping or Pausing

The Wanderer’s Post does not offer skipping or pausing of individual subscription months. If you do not want to be charged for an upcoming subscription period, you must cancel before the applicable renewal charge. You may subscribe again later, subject to collection availability and the subscription price and terms in effect at that time.

14. Final Sale; Limited Exceptions

Subscription purchases are final sale. We do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds for a subscription collection because a subscriber changes their mind, no longer wants the collection, or cancels after the applicable charge has been processed. We will, however, provide an appropriate replacement, refund, or other reasonable remedy when an order is materially damaged, incorrect, or cannot be fulfilled by Elsewhere by Eden, subject to the procedures in our Shipping & Returns Policy and applicable law. Nothing in this section limits a consumer right or remedy that cannot legally be waived.

15. Mailing Address

You are responsible for providing and maintaining a complete and accurate mailing address. Address changes should be submitted through your website account or communicated to eolivia@elsewherebyeden.com as soon as possible before the applicable collection enters fulfillment. We cannot guarantee that an address change received after a collection has entered fulfillment will apply to that mailing. Additional terms regarding incorrectly addressed or returned mail are contained in our Shipping & Returns Policy.

16. Price Changes

Elsewhere by Eden may change the subscription price prospectively. If a price change will apply to an existing subscription, we will provide advance notice and obtain any additional consent required by applicable law before charging the changed amount. You may cancel before the new price becomes effective if you do not wish to continue at the changed price. Until a properly communicated price change takes effect, the recurring subscription price remains $12.00 per month, plus applicable tax.

17. Changes to Collections

Each collection is intentionally unique. Elsewhere by Eden may change collection themes, artwork, written content, paper stock, formats, included pieces, packaging, suppliers, or other creative and production details. We may make reasonable substitutions when necessary because of supply, production, quality, or availability issues, provided the collection remains reasonably consistent with its description and the nature of The Wanderer’s Post.

18. Limited Availability and Discontinuation

Collections may be produced in limited quantities. We may limit new subscriptions, close enrollment for a collection when available quantities are reached, or discontinue The Wanderer’s Post. If Elsewhere by Eden accepts payment for an order that we are unable to fulfill, we will provide a refund or other appropriate remedy.

19. Renewal and Subscription Notices

Elsewhere by Eden will provide renewal, recurring-charge, price-change, or other subscription notices when required by applicable law. Notices may be sent to the email address associated with your subscription. You are responsible for maintaining a current email address and reviewing communications relating to your subscription.

20. Transactional Communications

By maintaining a subscription, you agree to receive transactional communications reasonably necessary to administer it, including order confirmations, payment notices, fulfillment information, cancellation confirmations, and legally required subscription notices. These communications are separate from optional marketing emails. Unsubscribing from marketing emails does not prevent us from sending necessary transactional communications about an active subscription or order.

21. Taxes

Applicable sales, use, or similar taxes will be collected when required by law. Any applicable tax will be displayed at checkout or on the transaction record.

22. Changes to These Subscription Terms

We may update these Subscription Terms prospectively to reflect changes in The Wanderer’s Post, our business practices, Squarespace functionality, payment processing, or applicable law. If a change materially affects an existing subscriber’s recurring billing or other material subscription rights, we will provide notice and obtain consent when required by applicable law. Changes will not be used to retroactively authorize charges that were not previously agreed to.

23. Suspension or Termination

We may suspend or terminate a subscription for nonpayment, fraud, misuse, repeated undeliverable mail, violation of applicable website terms, discontinuation of The Wanderer’s Post, or another legitimate business reason. If we terminate a subscription after collecting payment for a collection that we will not fulfill, we will provide an appropriate refund or other remedy.

24. Relationship to Other Policies

These Subscription Terms should be read together with the Elsewhere by Eden Terms of Service, Shipping & Returns Policy, and Privacy Policy. If these Subscription Terms conflict with the general Terms of Service regarding recurring billing, renewal, collection assignment, or subscription cancellation, these Subscription Terms control for that subject. The Shipping & Returns Policy controls matters concerning physical delivery, damage, incorrect items, replacements, and refunds.

25. Governing Law

These Subscription Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except to the extent that another jurisdiction’s non-waivable consumer-protection law applies. Nothing in these Subscription Terms is intended to waive any right or remedy that cannot legally be waived.

26. Severability

If any provision of these Subscription Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.
