ELSEWHERE BY EDEN

PRIVACY POLICY

Effective August 27, 2026

Elsewhere by Eden, LLC (“Elsewhere by Eden,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you visit elsewherebyeden.com, purchase products, subscribe to The Wanderer’s Post, create or use a customer account, sign up for communications, contact us, or otherwise interact with our website and services.

By using our website, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy. This policy applies to information we collect through our website and online shop. Third-party services we use may process information under their own privacy policies.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect personal information that you provide directly to us, information generated when you use the website, and information processed through service providers that help operate our website and shop.

Information you provide may include your name, email address, billing address, shipping address, order details, subscription information, customer-account information, communications with us, newsletter or marketing preferences, and other information you choose to submit.

When you purchase a product or subscription, payment information is collected and processed by Squarespace and the applicable payment processor. Elsewhere by Eden does not need to receive or store your complete payment-card number to fulfill your order or administer your subscription.

When you visit the website, Squarespace may automatically collect technical and usage information such as your IP address, browser, network and device information, pages viewed, referring pages or websites, clicks, internal links, searches, scrolling, timestamps, and other information about interaction with the website.

2. How We Collect Information

We collect information when you place an order, subscribe to The Wanderer’s Post, create or use a customer account, submit a form, sign up for email communications, contact us, or otherwise provide information directly.

Information may also be collected automatically through Squarespace, cookies, local storage, analytics technologies, and other tools necessary to operate, secure, understand, and improve the website.

3. How We Use Personal Information

We may use personal information to process and fulfill purchases; administer The Wanderer’s Post and recurring subscriptions; mail orders to the correct address; process payments and recurring charges through our service providers; create and manage customer accounts; send order, payment, fulfillment, renewal, cancellation, and other transactional communications; provide customer service; respond to questions and requests; maintain business, accounting, tax, and transaction records; detect or prevent fraud, misuse, and security incidents; operate, analyze, maintain, and improve the website; comply with legal obligations; enforce our policies and agreements; and protect our rights and the rights of customers and others.

If you choose to receive marketing communications, we may also use your contact information to send collection announcements, journal updates, shop news, and other promotional communications. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in the message.

4. Squarespace

Our website and online store are hosted by Squarespace. Squarespace processes information necessary to provide website hosting, ecommerce, customer-account, analytics, security, and related services to us. This may include browser, network, device, IP-address, website-activity, customer, order, and subscription information.

Information processed by Squarespace is also subject to Squarespace’s applicable privacy practices. Squarespace may process certain information for its own legitimate business purposes as described in its privacy documentation.

5. Payments

Payments and recurring subscription charges are processed through Squarespace and the payment processor associated with the payment method selected at checkout. Payment processors may collect payment-card information, billing information, transaction details, device or fraud-prevention information, and other information needed to authorize and process payments.

We receive information necessary to manage the transaction, such as payment status and order information, but we do not need to store your complete payment-card number. Payment providers process information according to their own privacy policies and legal obligations.

6. Order Fulfillment and Mailing

We use customer names, mailing addresses, order information, and related details as necessary to prepare and mail physical orders and subscription collections. Information may be provided to postal, shipping, printing, fulfillment, or other service providers when reasonably necessary to produce, address, mail, deliver, or resolve an issue with an order.

We disclose only information reasonably necessary for the service being performed.

7. Customer Accounts

If you create or use a customer account, Squarespace may process information necessary to authenticate you, maintain your account, display order or subscription information, and provide account functionality. Account-related cookies or similar technologies may be necessary for login and security.

8. Email and Marketing Communications

If you voluntarily subscribe to our email list or otherwise consent to receive marketing communications, we may use your name, email address, preferences, and engagement information to send and improve those communications.

You can unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in the email. Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent us from sending transactional or service communications that are reasonably necessary for an order, active subscription, customer request, or legal notice.

9. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. Cookies are small files or pieces of data stored on a visitor’s device that can enable website functionality, remember preferences, support customer accounts and shopping carts, maintain security, and help understand website activity.

Squarespace uses necessary cookies to operate features such as customer accounts, shopping carts, checkout, authentication, and security. Necessary cookies may operate without optional analytics consent where permitted by law.

Squarespace may also use analytics and performance cookies to help us understand site traffic and activity, including visits, pageviews, traffic sources, and interactions. Where our website is configured to require consent for non-essential cookies, those cookies are restricted until the visitor makes the applicable cookie choice.

Third-party integrations added to the website may use their own cookies or similar technologies. Their practices are governed by their own privacy policies.

10. Cookie Choices

Where available, you may use the cookie banner or cookie-management controls on our website to accept, decline, or manage non-essential cookies. You can also use your browser settings to review, block, or delete cookies.

Blocking certain necessary cookies may prevent parts of the website, customer account, shopping cart, or checkout from functioning correctly. Changing or clearing browser cookies may also reset previously saved cookie preferences.

11. Analytics

We may use Squarespace Analytics to understand how visitors use the website and how the shop performs. Analytics information may include browser, network, device, IP-address, referral, pageview, click, visit, search, scrolling, and timestamp information.

We use analytics to understand website traffic and engagement, identify popular content, evaluate shop activity, troubleshoot performance, and improve the website and customer experience. Where required, non-essential analytics cookies are used only after the applicable consent choice.

12. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information for money.

We may disclose personal information to service providers and other parties when reasonably necessary to operate our business, including Squarespace; payment processors; postal, shipping, printing, or fulfillment providers; email or communications providers; professional advisers such as accountants or attorneys; fraud-prevention, security, or technology providers; and government authorities or other parties when disclosure is required or permitted by law.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to protect our rights, investigate fraud or misuse, enforce our agreements, respond to legal process, or protect the safety and security of customers, our business, or others.

If Elsewhere by Eden is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, sale of assets, reorganization, or similar business transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction subject to applicable law.

13. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected and for legitimate business or legal needs. Retention periods vary depending on the type of information and may be affected by accounting, tax, transaction-record, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, contractual, and legal requirements.

Order and transaction records may be retained after a customer relationship or subscription ends when reasonably necessary for these purposes. When information is no longer reasonably needed, we may delete, anonymize, or otherwise dispose of it in accordance with our practices and applicable law.

14. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative and operational measures appropriate to a small online business to protect personal information in our possession. We also rely on established service providers, including Squarespace and payment processors, for website infrastructure, checkout, and payment security.

No website, transmission method, or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Accordingly, we cannot guarantee absolute security of information.

15. Your Privacy Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live and subject to applicable law, you may have rights concerning your personal information, which may include the right to request access to information we maintain about you, request correction of inaccurate information, request deletion of certain information, obtain information about how personal information is used or disclosed, withdraw certain consent, opt out of certain processing, or appeal a decision concerning a privacy request.

These rights are not absolute and may be subject to legal exceptions. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.

To submit a privacy request, email eolivia@elsewherebyeden.com. Please describe your request and provide enough information for us to identify the relevant account, order, or information. Do not send passwords or full payment-card numbers by email.

16. Marketing Opt-Out

You may opt out of promotional email communications at any time by selecting the unsubscribe link included in a marketing email. You may also contact eolivia@elsewherebyeden.com.

An opt-out from marketing does not cancel The Wanderer’s Post or another order and does not prevent transactional communications necessary to administer a purchase or subscription.

17. Children’s Privacy

Our website, shop, and The Wanderer’s Post are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without appropriate authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete it. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided personal information may contact us at eolivia@elsewherebyeden.com.

18. Visitors Outside the United States

Elsewhere by Eden is based in Georgia, United States, and our website and service providers may process or store information in the United States or other countries in which they operate. If you access the website from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions whose data-protection laws differ from those in your location.

Where applicable law provides additional rights or imposes additional requirements for international visitors, we will address qualifying requests and obligations in accordance with that law.

19. Third-Party Websites and Services

Our website may contain links to websites, social-media platforms, embedded content, or services operated by third parties. We do not control the privacy practices of independent third parties. Information you provide directly to a third party or information collected by a third-party service is governed by that party’s privacy policy. We encourage you to review the privacy practices of services you choose to use.

20. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our website, services, business practices, service providers, or legal requirements. The effective date at the top of the policy identifies the current version.

If we make a material change, we may provide additional notice where appropriate or required by law. Continued use of the website after an updated policy becomes effective is subject to the updated policy, except where applicable law requires a different form of notice or consent.

21. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, except to the extent another jurisdiction’s applicable and non-waivable privacy law governs a particular individual or processing activity.
